FAQ
What is the mission of the California Defense Ready Electronics and Microdevices Superhub (CA DREAMS) university hub?
CA DREAMS, led by the University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute (USC/ISI), accelerates the development of onshore microelectronics hardware by uniting academic and industry institutions. As part of the Department of Defense’s Microelectronics Commons Program, CA DREAMS focuses on three key objectives: advancing RF technologies for rapid prototyping, enabling seamless lab-to-fab transitions, and training the next generation of engineers and technicians in cutting-edge RF and microelectronics.
MOSIS 2.0 functions at the core of CA DREAMS by connecting innovators to a vast network of nanofabrication and foundry services, breaking down barriers to innovation and empowering advancements in education, industry, and national security.
